Check your existing hinge dimensions before ordering. Remove the old fittings, insert the expansion sleeves into the mounting holes and assemble the fasteners with the nut end facing down. Lightly tighten, align the pins with your toilet seat, then secure the screws and fit the covers.
The sleeves expand inside compatible mounting holes as the screws tighten. Check both hinge positions before fully tightening. Follow your seat manufacturer’s fitting guidance and avoid overtightening.
